Pumpkin Patch

Brookhollow’s Barnyard operates a Pumpkin Patch during the fall. We are open weekends from mid September through October. Enjoy a hayride, take the kids on one of our train rides – Moo Moo Choo Choo or our Cow Train, and look for the perfect pumpkins for your jack-o-lanterns. During this time, you can access the petting farm from either the Pumpkin Patch entrance at 425 Powerville Road or our regular Petting Farm entrance 301 Rockaway Valley Rd.

Field Trips
Field trips are available for groups of 20 or more. Field trips in the fall include a hayride, admission to the petting farm as well as a small pumpkin. Click here for more field trip info. See Above

Zombie Hayride

In the fall of 2015, Brookhollow’s Barnyard introduced our newest attraction: Zombie Paintball Hayrides. From the safety of your seat on our specially fitted 20 gun hayride, shoot at fixed targets, skeletons and pop up zombies. Pricing: $12 for 200 paintballs with the option to buy another 150 paintball for $10. Ride time is about 15 minutes. This ride is best suited for the ‘tween crowd, but all ages can participate. Visit our shop for Zombie T-shirts and rice crispie treats by Forbidden Sweets.  There are no “walking zombies at this time.

The Paintball wagon is also available for Birthday Parties.

Cut your own Christmas Tree!

The cold weather finds the petting farm closed – we send our animals on winter vacation to our farm across the street where they enjoy lots more space and a large warm barn. We, however, continue to work getting ready for our favorite time on the farm, the opening of our “Cut your own Christmas tree” farm. You can borrow one of our bow saws or bing your own (no chain saws or sawzalls – only man or woman powered) Dogs are allowed on the Christmas tree farm but for safety reasons, they must be on a leash – and please don’t forget to clean up after your dog so others don’t bring something other than snow back on their boots from their Christmas tree-finding-hike. Please check our Facebook for dates and pricing.

Egg Hunt

For the past few years, the Barnyard has celebrated spring with an annual Egg Hunt. This is the one time we offer pictures with our baby animals as well as the opportunity to hunt for eggs. To make this event enjoyable for all ages, we limit the amount of eggs per child. The price for this one day event includes a Barnyard bucket filled with carrots as well as 10 eggs per child and unlimited time at the petting farm. Egg hunts are at 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30 pm and 3pm. Farm is open that day from 10am-4pm. Pre-registration is $9 this year and at door pricing is $11. You must pre-register for the photo shoots ($20 for a 10 minute time slot… all photos are placed on Shutterfly and are free to download) 2019 Egg Hunt April 13 with rain date on the 14th ( plastic eggs are filled with toys, train tickets, tractor tickets and nut free candy)
